Field Technician

As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire prevention systems. You will work closely with our clients and team members to ensure the safety and compliance of all fire prevention equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain fire prevention systems
• Conduct regular inspections of fire prevention systems to ensure compliance with BC fire code
• Respond to service calls and provide on-site technical support and solutions to clients
• Document all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring accurate and detailed records
• Educate clients on the proper use and maintenance of fire prevention equipment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and effective completion of projects

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Field Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of fire prevention systems and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Relevant certifications in fire prevention systems and ASTTBC preferred
